Von Braun Astronomical Society (VBAS).
VBAS is a non-profit volunteer organization of amateur and professional
astronomers. In addition to operating our planetarium and observatories
located in Monte Sano State Park just East of Huntsville, Alabama, we
also conduct side walk astronomy events in conjunction with several
local community events such as Concerts In The Park and we're working to
establish a remote dark sky observatory near Huntsville.

HATS is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) association of Huntsville area
technical and professional societies dedicated to the advancement of
science and engineering. Founded on June 17, 1969, HATS has grown from
seven charter societies to the current organizations representing more
than 21,000 individuals.

The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is recognized as one of the most comprehensive U.S. manned space flight hardware museums in the world. Our facilities include Spacedome Theater, Rocket Park, the Education Training Center, which houses NASA's Educator Resource Center, and more.
The Davidson Center for Space Exploration is like no other in the country. In its 476 foot long, 90 foot wide and 63 foot high structure, suspended 10 feet above the floor, is a national historic treasure, the mighty Saturn V, restored to its Apollo era readiness.
